The HydroXS is a patented, modular turnkey renewable energy generation system incorporating micro-hydro technology that integrates into existing bypasses and penstocks at hydropower facilities. The HydroXS is a manufactured system that combines all the hardware and smart controls required to manage and generate electricity from water flowing in pipelines to the grid. And, because the HydroXS is modular, multiple HydroXS systems can be installed in parallel maximizing electricity generation. The HydroXS was developed in collaboration with Grundfos. It includes InPipe’s patented variable speed operating system, an advanced innovation that enables energy recovery rates up to 60% higher than conventional micro-hydro turbine technologies, delivering substantial economic value and operational efficiency for our clients.
